Dear Peter I have only just found out this terrible news and I cannot begin to say how terribly sorry I am to hear it. "Sir" (as he will always be lovingly referred to in my mind) was a true gem and has undoubtedly shaped my life, any many others. People as joyful, kind, compassionate and innately good as your dad are rare. I count myself very, very lucky to have had Midi and Sir as our house parents at S. Anselm's and to have had the chance to meet someone as special as your dad. I knew you when you were tiny and I haven't seen you for years, but I do know that your wonderful Dad would be so incredibly proud of you and all that you are doing now. Please send my love and deepest condolences to your mum and to Rachel and Rosie and best of luck with the fantastic work that you are doing in the name of a great, unique and inspirational man.
